Fairy,
If a Tree falls tragically
in the forest,
We certainly hope it falls from Natural causes,
And not by some myopic, dystopic, pessimythic vision
Of a clearcut, pornoGrafic “Progress.”
However,
If it absolutely must be Tragic’ly Fell’d,
Then, in the name of Human Transgression,
Let us pray that it finds itself blessed,
Transphormed into a thick and luxurious parchment
Upon which
Only the most enchanted and worthwhile Words
Are lovingly CalliGrafEye’d.
And should our Tragic Phall find itself instead
Turned into grainy, letter-sized photocopies
Of legal agreements for tax purposes,
Then let us take a TogetherSplice of silence
To weep for it.
